Sunkist Growers donates $50,000 to Haiti Relief

January 20, 2010, Sherman Oaks, CA…..To help alleviate the suffering of the people of Haiti, Sunkist Growers is donating $25,000 each to two relief organizations – Partners in Health and Doctors Without Borders.
“Our hearts go out to the people of Haiti who have endured such devastating losses,” said Russ Hanlin, Sunkist President and CEO. “Their suffering is unimaginable and we at Sunkist wanted to do what we can to help.”
Partners in Health, an organization that works to bring modern medical care to poor communities, has been working in Haiti for more than 20 years. The Emergency Relief Fund set up by Doctors Without Borders will be used to help their medical teams react to the Haiti emergency.
